親愛的小蓋瑞，我真的不知道為什麼你會選我當你的母親

你的個性是那麼的爽朗、風趣，極富創意卻又如此調皮到我一整個拿你沒辦法

有些日子我完全想不出你究竟做過些什麼"好"事

但總有一件事，那就是你跟我說我愛你，儘管我對你做出許多殘忍的事情

我知道因為你是長子所以會對你特別嚴厲

有時候我為自己感到難過，因為我覺得自己好不公平

我會拉下臉來教訓你不要來煩我

但每次當你妹妹來到我身旁時我卻轉身給她最大的微笑

我受不了你的哭聲，就用我的威嚴命令你閉嘴

當身邊有不少人告訴我我是一個好媽媽

我心裡使勁地搖頭，你們沒看我在家是怎麼對待孩子的

老實說，你們一定會被嚇壞

有些時候我很恨我自己，有些時候我好討厭自己的小孩

我很容易忘記要好好珍惜自己擁有別人卻沒有的

Happy Birthday to Garrett

I really don't know why you choose me as your mum Garrett, you are such a bright character, so much fun, so creative but at the same time so naughty that I don't know how to deal with you. There are some days I can't even think of any "good" thing you've done. But there's always one thing, and it's you telling me that you love me even I've done some horrible things to you. 

I know I've been so harsh on you cause you are the first born. Sometimes I feel sad for myself cause it seems like I'm not fair enough. I pulled off the face to lecturing you don't bother me but give your sister the biggest smile every time she approaches me. I can't stand your crying so I use my authority demand you to shut it. While there are people telling me I'm doing a good job as a mum, no no no, inside me I shook my head so rough, you didn't see what I look like at home, you will be terrified to be honest. 

There are days I HATE myself so much. There are days I DISLIKE my children a lot. I simply forget to cherish what I have while others haven't. And here you still tell me every day you love me. I'm the one who keep carrying on and won't let go, you are the one who choose to forgive me and move on. You teach me so much. Even in my darkness time of depression, it's your kiss and cuddles and laughter that bring me back to life.

I so appreciate that you walk into my life. Although you are such a headache for your daddy and me, we love you deeply. Four years old, such an age. Thank you for all those sweet and sour memories, they spice up my life. 

I love you my son, and together we make this song happened. Not the best, but will get better every year. You are always my treasure little star. Happy 4yrs birthday.
